During DIMDEX 2010 Defense Industries Exhibition in Doha, Qatar held between 29-31 March 2010 and participated by Düzgit Yalova Shipyard representing Düzgit Group of Companies, TCG Gemlik Frigate came to Qatar Port hoisting the national flag like the fleet ships of other countries after it was substituted by TCG Gelibolu Frigate to serve at Aden Bay.

The Turkish Navy hosted the reception given aboard the frigate which was honored by the Defense Minister Vecdi GÖNÜL, Navy Commander Admiral Ugur YIGIT, Undersecretary of Defense Industries, Turkish citizens living in Doha, SSM exhibitors, and the defense authorities of various countries.
